Have Dreams offers a variety of instructional
programming specifically designed to build social, pre-vocational,
and independent living skills for children challenged with autism.
All programs offered provide individualized instruction for each
child, and are based on the TEACCH model, a method of structured
teaching for children with autism, developed by the University of
North Carolina, Chapel Hill over 40 years ago. Instruction is provided
by highly-trained and experienced Have Dreams staff, with support
provided by staff assistants and peer social buddies, volunteer
adolescent and young adults from the Maine Township community.
